According to the latest research by a leading car insurance comparison website, 40% of motorists admitted using their mobile phones while driving. This reason highlights the requirement of appropriate insurance policy as using phones could possibly increase the chance of accidents.
It has been revealed and admitted by 15% drivers that when stuck in the unlikely traffic jams, they make use of phones for calls and e-mails. A high amount of 21% admitted that they used phones when they were stopped at traffic lights.
Increasing popularity on social networking via phones is one of the major factors encouraging users while they are driving.

A new coalition of consumer, business and law enforcement groups is taking on car insurance fraud in Florida.
Among the 12 groups that compose Gear Up Florida are the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America, Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Florida Police Chiefs Association and Florida Sheriffs Association. The coalition wants Florida lawmakers to pass legislation that would crack down on car accident fraud.
Critics say loopholes in Floridas no-fault car insurance law allows criminals to take advantage of a system designed to provide medical care to drivers and passengers who are legitimately injured in car accidents, regardless of whos at fault.
