Why is Delaware suspending my registration over unpaid tolls?
In an effort to collect the $8 million in delinquent tolls, the Delaware DMV decided that those motorists with unpaid tolls would be unable to renew their registration. Of the $8 million, $600,000 is owed by 400 people. Until other states have worked out reciprocity with Delaware, out-of-state violators will handled by collections agencies.
