What does Comprehensive mean when it comes to car insurance?
This is also known as other than collision (OTC) coverage. It means anything that can happen to the insured’s vehicle that is not a collision is covered (minus a deductible). This includes damage by theft, vandalism, storms, animals, floods, etc. It is an optional coverage.
